Patrolled as a member of an Infantry scout team, as well as a linguist and intelligence gatherer.

Given special tasks e.g. reported, documented, and later translated written/ graffiti propaganda messages from ?Jaish Al-Mahdi? left on walls, bridges. Documented?activities surrounding IP (Iraqi Police) check points, during night patrols.

Provided linguistic and cultural expertise to military Head Quarters and Tactical Operation Centers, in addition to Intelligence analysis and data collection.

Utilized as a culture advisor and a linguist expert for Provincial Reconstruction Team Dhi Qar, Tallil, Iraq.

Worked as a Personal Security Detachment and Interpreter for my Company commander and Battalion commander during visits to Iraqi Police Stations, Security Checkpoints and Provincial Reconstruction sites.

Utilized my military and linguistic skills to train Iraqi Army and Police on security check point?s procedures and weapons training.

Assisted Intelligence officers with multiple tasks e.g.:?Analyzed intelligence reports and translated exploited information (typed and handwritten) maps, letters, and other materials.

Crypto linguist skills: Interpreted videos, voice messages, and enemy radio chatter. All were later translated into written reports.

As a member of Team Rubicon, a Veteran Non-profit organization, I Deployed to Maban, South Sudan with a 6 man Emergency Respond Team. The team consisted of Engineers and Medics. We assisted the International Medical Corps, in building a compound, clinic, a nutrition site, and a Cholera Treatment Unit for the new refugee camp Gendrassa. We also built a refugee reception area and a vaccination station. The team and I registered and vaccinated about 500 refugees daily.

?Assigned the role of ATL and later became the Team Leader.
?Provided the brunt of logistical operations, and procurements for all projects.
?Registered and vaccinated several hundreds of refugees.
?Due to my linguistic skills, I naturally assumed the role of facilitating many day-to-day interactions e.g. interpreted at the clinic and vaccination stations.
?Conducted meetings with local and refugee religious leaders ?sheikhs?, speaking on behalf of IMC.
?Went on data collection walkthroughs, with medical and nutrition teams, to gain insight into the daily life at the refugee camp.

I am newly assigned the role as the State Director of Field Operations (in VA & DC) for Team Rubicon.

Conducted continuous?surveillance,?special reconnaissance, target acquisition, battle damage assessment, and force protection missions,?on key interest intelligence targets.
